Pramod Ranjan has enriched Hindi journalism through his well-researched writings on society, politics and internal democracy in media in North India. He has immensely contributed to bringing the discourse on Dalit-OBC issues from the margins of Hindi literature to its centre stage. He is credited with the re-interpretation of many Hindu legends from the Bahujan angle. Besides Journalism, he has also dwelt in Hindi literature. Presently he is Counsulting Editor of "Forward Press".
